For so many of my clients, technology is completely dis-empowering. Having to tackle the smallest things can leave them totally paralysed from moving forwards in their business for days if not weeks.

Handing tasks over to a traditional “techie” is not always the answer as this can sometimes be the equivalent of giving your power away to someone else.

Many times my clients have told me of occasions where they gave a task away (usually a website) and it actually caused them more problems in the long term because it just increased their sense of frustration. Often it resulted in  a situation where they had even less power to do anything about it.

I believe that a fear of technology that results in such paralysis is actually a manifestation of the fear of your own power!
